UW Photo Day: meet your photographers
Join The Whole U for UW Photo Day, Saturday, August 10 or Sunday August 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.! Gather your favorite people and furry friends and strike a pose for some of Seattle’s top portrait photographers.
Registrants are invited to bring their family, friends and pets to the Seattle campus for our free annual UW photo weekend. The beautiful, high-resolution portraits our photographers create are perfect for holiday cards, fireplace mantles and social media.
This event has limited capacity, be sure to register today to secure your spot! All registered participants will receive a map the week of the event showing the final location for each photographer.

Lauren Ryan of Lauren Ryan Photography
Hello! I’m Lauren Ryan. I established my business in 2014 and began my entrepreneurial journey in Wedding and Portrait Photography. I have a bachelor’s degree in fine arts which has provided me the foundation to excel at creating beautiful images with my camera. After nine years in this amazing business, I continue to pursue my passion for capturing important memories that my clients cherish. Each photograph is unique and tells your story. It’s not just my camera doing the work, but my constant eye for detail, direction, and collaboration with my clients.

My name is Katherine, Kat for short. I’m 40 years young, a wife to my best friend and mom to two wonderful, high spirited boys. I started with a photography class in high school where I learned how to take photos on a film camera SLR, as well as dark room developing.
Fast forward to 2010. My husband and I purchased our first DSLR while we were expecting our first child. We loved taking pictures and thought there was no better time to upgrade.
9 years later, 4 camera upgrades, multiple lens purchases, and over 10k pictures taken, I’ve decided to take my hobby and turn it into a profession. I decided to become a photographer for hire! My passion is to create memories by using my camera to freeze time. I would love to be able to do that for your family.

Specializing in Family, Maternity, kids, business, wedding and Social events, Leslie is a full time photographer and she dedicates all of her time to the satisfaction of her clients. She spends all of her time taking her art in photography to another level.

Hello! I’ve been taking pictures from a young age and it developed into a love of documenting life’s amazing and crazy events. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m helping people heal through massage and spending as much time as I can with my husband and short people.

Lily Luu of Photos by Lily Luu
Lily Luu, a born and raised Seattleite, is a natural-light portrait photographer, specializing in couples and family portraits. She became interested with nature photography at first during grade school but has shifted her interest to portraits over the years. There’s something about capturing people’s natural emotions that she admires and hopes to help photograph as many of these moments as possible.

I specialize in capturing true to life color memories for your family to look back on decades from now. I love to capture families, couples, Maternity and lifestyle newborn sessions! I travel all over the us but reside in East Texas and quite frequently visit back to Washington for my clients!

Kris Ladera specializes in candid wedding and family photography, focusing on the real emotions behind every moment. Since 2015, he has been delving deep into his clients’ stories to better showcase their love. Kuria is the company founder and lead photographer. She graduated from the Art Institute with a BFA in photography and wrote her thesis was on what’s called Astrophotography. Kuria’s favorite pastime is to read art books and sketch in her travel journal. She’s artsy and nerdy and has a large collection of working antique cameras. Run by passionate nerds who really care about your enjoyment and the quality of their pictures, the Frozen Sentiment team specializes in photo booths, cosplay shoots and event photography.
