
UW Yoga Month Classes
This November, The Whole U invites you to celebrate the 12th year of UW Yoga Month. Register for UW Yoga Month 2025 – Move, Breathe and Connect and join colleagues across the University of Washington and UW Medicine for 15 days dedicated to movement, mindfulness, and connection from Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 21.
In the middle of busy days and shifting seasons, yoga offers a chance to pause and breathe deeply. Whether you are curious to try your first class or have been practicing for years, UW Yoga Month is designed to help you restore energy, strengthen resilience, and feel more connected to yourself and the UW community.
This year’s theme, Move, Breathe and Connect, highlights yoga’s power to ground us in the present moment while nurturing strength, balance, and calm. Through movement and mindfulness, yoga helps create space to reset and recharge, one breath at a time.
What’s Included
Daily Micro Yoga Moments
Each weekday, you will receive a brief yoga video directly in your inbox. These short practices, under five minutes, are designed to fit into your schedule anywhere, anytime. Each video includes a mindful quote and a reflection prompt to carry into your day.
Live Virtual and In-Person Yoga Classes
Join our UW yoga partners for a series of free classes, from gentle morning flows to invigorating midday sessions. These classes are open to all levels and taught by expert instructors from local studios.
Community Challenge
Show us your yoga. Share a yoga-inspired photo on social media using #UWYogaMonth2025 and tag @thewholeu or email your entry to wholeu@uw.edu for a chance to win a free one-month pass to one of our participating studios: Seattle Bouldering Project, Shefayoga, or Halea Yoga Seattle.

Join Amity Neumeister, owner of Zem Yoga Studio Roma, for an invigorating virtual yoga flow. This dynamic vinyasa practice strengthens the body, calms the mind, and promotes balance and focus through breath and movement.
Flow Yoga at The Seattle Bouldering Project (Onsite)

Join Marcus King from The Seattle Bouldering Project for an onsite vinyasa-based practice in the University District. This medium-intensity class links breath to movement, building strength, mobility, and coordination.

Flow, breathe, and energize in this in-studio class at hauteyoga on Queen Anne. Participants will be guided through an energizing sequence that builds strength and balance.

Join Shefayoga for a rejuvenating in-studio Vinyasa session in the Roosevelt neighborhood. Enjoy a mindful afternoon of movement and connection.
