The Summer Olympics are a time of unity, celebration, and extraordinary athletic achievement. At the University of Washington, we’re bringing that same spirit to our campus community with a fun and engaging UW Summer Olympics Challenge. This is your chance to challenge yourself, support your colleagues and celebrate the joy of the games together!

How to earn your UW rings

From Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11, your challenge is to complete each of the following well-being tasks DAILY. Just like the Olympics, this challenge is no small feat!

  • Exercise: Engage in 30 minutes of exercise.
  • Nutrition: Consume 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables.
  • Hydration: Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water.
  • Mindfulness: Spend 10 minutes practicing mindfulness.
