The Whole U is thrilled to celebrate the incredible nurses at UW Medicine. Every second of every day, nurses across the UW Medicine healthcare system provide life-saving care.
During Nurses Week, we take the time to recognize and celebrate all our nurses and hope you will join us at the following events and activities to honor UW Medicine nurses.
Photo Booth & Giveaways
Strike a pose! Gather your colleagues and visit The Whole U Nurses Week photo booth. Take fun photos, print a copy to take with you and enter to win a raffle giveaway.

UW Fitness Day
UW Fitness Day is a one-of-a-kind, campus-wide workout celebrating the many ways we move. This year we will have 16 stations including strength, core, cardio, dance and rest!
The first 1,000 participants to show on Husky Field will receive a 2024 performance t-shirt, The Whole U headband, and a pair of 2 lb dumbbells to use during the workout and to bring back to your workstation.c
Joining from UWMC? Plan to begin the workout at station #6 and join your fellow colleagues led by Marie Cockerham, director of the Care 4 U support and well-being program.
