ASUW Office of Student Health Relations is honored to host the first-ever UW Student Wellness Week, Tuesday, April 30 to Friday, May 3. During this week students are encouraged to focus on overall well-being. 


In-person Activities Schedule

April 30 – May 3, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Come to the Husky Union Building patio and lawn to stop by and experience the various wellness programs UW has to offer.

Vendors in attendance: UW Recreation, The Whole U, UW LiveWell, National Marrow Donor Program,

 


April 30, Noon – 1:00 p.m. Yoga on the HUB lawn

Stop by the Husky Union Building lawn to enjoy yoga lead by UW Recreation. This one hour relaxing yoga session will be the perfect way to spend your lunch break. This class is perfect for yogis of all experience levels.

Be sure to bring your own Yoga Mat if you have one!

 


May 2, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Get in The Game at Red Square

The Whole U and National Marrow Donor Program are partnering to encourage the UW community to join the registry to help cure individuals’ cancer and blood diseases. Help us reach our goal of 500 students and staff registrations!

 

 


May 3, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Dance Classes & Silent Disco at the Husky Union Building Room 145

April 30 – May 3, 11:00 -11:15 a.m. Daily Movement Break

Join The Whole U in our daily movement break.  It was our way to connect virtually and take a few minutes to move and stretch your body.

April 30, 6:15 – 6:45 & 7:15 – 7:45 a.m. Virtual Weight Training Class with Lauren Updyke

This class  is a total body workout that focuses on both large and small muscle groups. If you have any type of dumbbells’ or weights be sure to have them handy. We will finish with core and stretching.

May 1, 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. Virtual Yoga Class with Pranify Yoga 

This evening class will offer you space to stretch, move your body and relax your mind. Be sure to virtually join this yoga session – great for participants in all stages of their yoga journey.
