Flu shots — get your flu shots!

Influenza is on its way, and while washing your hands and being active will help you stay healthy, the best way to evade the virus is to get vaccinated.

But please, don’t bother burning any of your hard-earned bucks. The UW Benefits Office is hosting free flu shot clinics for faculty and staff throughout the fall. Just print out your paperwork and prepare for a little poke — then you’re set for the season.

The Whole U stopped by the first clinic yesterday, September 21, in Bagley Hall. Scott Woodward, director of UW Athletics, was first in line to get his shot (pictured above). Less than a minute after sitting down, he left with a smile on his face and a Scooby-Doo Band-Aid on his arm.

Here’s who else we saw!
