Spread Warmth: Join UWCFD to Craft Cozy Pet Blankets
Comfort for our furry friends: Join the UWCFD to make no-sew pet blankets
Looking for a meaningful way to brighten a shelter animal’s day? Join the UW Combined Fund Drive (UWCFD) on Thursday, Feb. 13, at noon for a heartwarming virtual event. We’ll be making cozy no-sew fleece pet blankets for the animals at PAWS, an organization dedicated to helping cats, dogs, and wild animals find safety, comfort, and care.
How you’ll make a difference
A warm, soft blanket can provide immense comfort to a shelter animal, helping them feel secure while they wait for their forever home. These handmade blankets not only create a cozier space during their stay but also become a cherished item that transitions with them to their new families. By participating, you’re helping to make this journey a little brighter for our furry friends.
No crafting experience? No problem! If you can tie a knot, you can create one of these special blankets. This event is perfect for individuals, families, and teams looking to combine creativity with community impact.
