After you have logged in to Google+, you can search for and join communities within UW. To find communities, mouse over the “Home” menu, found on the right side of the screen, just under the yellow “W” logo. When the menu appears, select the “Communities” option.

On the “Communities” page, Google will recommend communities for you to join. To search for a community within UW, use the “Search for Communities” search box on the right side of the screen.

Once you have found the community you want to join, simply click the “Join Community” button on the right side of the screen. Please note, some communities may require permission to join; in those cases, you will be guided through the joining process.
