This spring, The Whole U hosted three Well-Being Fairs across UW Medicine, offering employees valuable resources to support their well-being. Each event provided a range of stations focused on mindfulness, stress relief, and self-care, giving staff the opportunity to recharge and prioritize their health.

Harborview Medical Center – March 20, 2025

Fair featured The Whole U’s well-being programs, along with resources like DIY aromatherapy bags and puzzles. Key highlights included WA EAP’s counseling services, HMC Nutrition’s healthy eating tips, Dream Clinic Massage and Cascade Forest Therapy’s nature-based wellness approach. The fair also offered financial guidance from Fidelity Financial Advisors and stress relief from the HMC Resiliency Committee.

UWMC Montlake – March 25, 2025

Participants got to dive into The Whole U’s resources, craft their own aromatherapy bags and consult with physical therapists from UW Sports Medicine for advice on mobility and injury prevention! The UW School of Dentistry shared valuable dental care tips, while Care4U provided stress-management resources for healthcare workers. Unwounded Retreats offered opportunities for relaxation and personal growth. Cascade Forest Therapy and Fidelity Financial Advisors were also on hand to support mental and financial well-being.

UWMC Northwest – April 1, 2025

The final fair at UWMC Northwest offered similar resources, including The Whole U program WA EAP services, and Cascade Forest Therapy. A Yoga/Mindfulness station provided opportunities for relaxation and Fidelity Financial Advisors were on hand for financial guidance. Attendees also learned about spiritual and emotional support through Spiritual Care and Care4U.

A big thank you to all who participated and contributed to making these events meaningful and impactful!
