The UW Disability Staff & Faculty Association (DSFA) Kick Off Week
The UW Disability Staff and Faculty Association (DSFA) launched in the 2023-2024 academic year to support our vibrant community for faculty and staff who identify as and/or ally with people who are disabled, blind/low vision, D/deaf, chronically ill, Mad, neurodivergent, or experiencing mental health concerns.
DSFA presents a week of opportunities to build community and discuss, “What does community in disability look like? How can we build it at the UW?”
Please note that:
- We recognize that a person’s disability identity is deeply personal; it is always an individual choice to self-disclose disability.
- Any disclosures made in our community space are expected to remain private unless explicit consent is given.
Join us in building a supportive environment that honors disability as an important part of diversity.
