Calling All UW Artists for Ovations 2017

Join us for the 4^th annual UW performance showcase, Ovations 2017, featuring some of our most talented UW faculty, staff, and students!

As your colleagues take the stage at Meany Hall on the afternoon of Sunday, October 29, help us fill the lobby with beautiful artwork. Whether your artistic talent takes the form of canvas, clay, fabric, paper or glass, we invite you to exhibit your work next to the renowned work of other Northwest artists like Jacob Lawrence and Dale Chihuly.

Artists are responsible for setting up and displaying their work and must bring their own easels or racks. Tables will be provided. Pipe and drape is available for pieces that can’t be displayed on an easel.

To submit your artwork, please send an email wholeu@uw.edu including:

1. A photo of the piece/s you’d like to submit (you can submit a maximum of two pieces)
2. A brief description
3. Its dimensions
4. How your piece will be displayed (table easel, floor easel, rack, hanging from the top crossbar of pipe and drape)

The deadline to submit your artwork is September 22. We can only accept up to 20 artists, so submit your artwork soon!
