Make a Difference with Northwest Harvest
In Washington state, 1 in 7 people struggle with hunger. That number is even higher for kids (1 in 5). Make a difference on Saturday August 22, from noon to 2 p.m. at Northwest Harvest’s warehouse in Kent. Northwest Harvest, the only non-profit food bank distributor operating statewide, provides food to a network of more than 370 food banks, meal programs, and high-need schools throughout Washington State, distributing over 32 million pounds of food annually.
You will help sort and re-package bulk food into family sized portions for distribution to food banks throughout the state. Bring your coworkers, family, and friends and experience the most fun you will ever have while wearing a hairnet! You will be amazed to see how much can be accomplished in just two hours.
