UW Fitness Day 2024: Go Dawgs, Go!

On May 8th, the University of Washington community came together for one of the most anticipated events of the year: Fitness Day at Husky Stadium. From students to staff, everyone was welcome to join in on the fun and fitness as we turned the stadium into a massive workout arena.

The event kicked off with high energy as participants gathered, more than 1,000 people donned in commemorative T-shirts and headbands and equipped with a set of 2-pound dumbbells. The workout session was spread across 16 stations, each led by experienced coaches from the UW and The Whole U’s community fitness partners. Whether it was strength training, cardio, or flexibility exercises, there was something for everyone, making it an inclusive and engaging experience.
