This November, The Whole U launches its 11th year hosting UW Yoga Month! Register for UW Yoga Month – Restore in 2024 and embark on a journey of relaxation and renewal.

2024 Yoga Month Theme

This Yoga Month, we invite you to focus on relaxation and inner peace. As life’s demands pull us in many directions, yoga offers a sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself, calm your mind and restore balance. Through gentle movements, mindful breathing and intentional stillness, you’ll discover the transformative power of inner tranquility. Make this month a time to nourish your body and soul, creating space for peace in your everyday life.

Here’s a glimpse of what awaits you:

Daily 15 Minute Yoga Breaks: Theses quick rejuvenating sessions are available on Zoom every weekday at 11:00 a.m.

Live and On-Demand Virtual Yoga Classes:  Our UW yoga partners will offer a variety of live and on-demand classes, allowing you to choose the practice that resonates with you. At each class offered during UW Yoga Month, we’ll do a random drawing for a giveaway including yoga mats, blocks and more!

Enlightening Articles: Explore yoga through insightful articles that accompany our program.

The Whole U’s Departmental Yoga Class Program: We are thrilled to bring restorative yoga into departments and teams across the University of Washington and UW Medicine. We have reached full capacity for this program and will be piloting it with 50 departments through June 2025. We hope to offer this program again in the future, reaching more departments. The program supports community, connection and resilience locally in teams.

Now is the time to take a deep breath, renew your energy, and set the stage for a stress-free end-of-year. Don’t hesitate – register today and let’s embark on this journey to well-being together.
