Ikebana is the centuries-old Japanese art of arranging flowers. Megumi Schacher has practiced Sogetsu Ikebana for 25 years and has attained the highest Sogetsu rank of riji. She teaches classes and workshops, gives demonstrations and participates in exhibitions and workshops in the greater Seattle area and across the U.S. and in Japan. She offers courses that follow the lessons described in the Sogetsu lesson books. Classes are offered twice a week out of her studio in Brier, WA. She also offers ikebana demonstrations and arrangements for the events, parties, and weddings.
