Here’s how to get started:
- Download the GIG Car Share app from your respective app store (Apple or Android)
- Create a Member profile by tapping “Sign Up” in the app and add your drivers license and credit card information (just like a rental car) *A temporary hold of $50 will be authorized on your card, and will fall off in 3-5 business days.
- Once you’ve completed signing up, tap “Payments ad Promos” in the app menu and apply your promo code. The promo code is WHOLEU. This credit will cover your first hour of free driving, equal to $17. This code expires 12/31/2021.
- To start driving, just open the app, tap on the pin icon on the map to reserve the nearest Gig, walk to the car, unlock, get in, and go! The app is your “key” to lock and unlock the car.
- You must start and end trips in the blue “HomeZones” in the app. During your trip, you can make stops anywhere you like.
