2022 UW Benefits Fairs
Open Enrollment for benefits-eligible UW employees begins on November 1 and there are many benefits options for you to consider. Take advantage of in-person or virtual opportunities to make informed choices.
The UW Benefits Fairs are returning in-person and are expanding to bring information to employees across our campuses and medical centers. Brought to you by The Whole U, these in-person fairs host a broad spectrum of benefit providers and UW resources.
For those who prefer to learn online, the WA State Healthcare Authority is hosting a virtual fair.
Explore information and ask questions about health plans, retirement, finances, insurance, childcare, and more.

Onsite UW Fair Schedule
We invite you to register to attend each of the fairs. Registration is not required, but it helps us plan accordingly. Below the fairs are listed in order by date.
UW Tacoma
Date: Tuesday, October 18
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: William Phillip Hall, Assembly Room
Building address: 1918 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402
This year’s event includes a Flu Shot Clinic in the Columbia Bank Lobby of William Phillip Hall. If you are interested in getting a flu shot at the event, you must visit the UW Flu Shot Clinic webpage and make an appointment in advance.
UW Medical Center – Northwest
Date: Thursday, October 20

Virtual Benefits Fair
Not able to attend an in-person fair or looking to learn information throughout the month of October? Be sure to visit the WA State Healthcare Authority’s virtual benefits fair. You will find links to videos, webinars, downloadable content, provider searches, and other information to help you choose the right benefits for you and your dependents. Use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to explore at your own pace.
The 2022 virtual fair will be updated on October 1 with the most recent updates for 2022 Open Enrollment.

Both the virtual fair and the in-person UW Benefits Fairs are the perfect opportunity to learn about a wide variety of benefits providers. As you prepare for Open Enrollment in November, you may want to plan which benefits options to explore further.
Not all benefit providers and plans are able to attend all fairs. If you are wanting to visit a specific benefit table, please reach out to Anna Tegelberg at ategel@uw.edu to see if that benefit provider will be available at the fair you plan to attend.
